FRACTURA (spanish and english)

 

¿Qué debemos hacer ante una fractura?

1.      - Do not move the limb / No mover la extremidad.

2.   - Apply local cold / Aplicar frio local.

3.   - Remove rings, watches and other objects that squeeze it / Quitar anillos, relojes entre otros objetos que lo aprieten.

4.   - Immobilize joints / Inmovilizar articulaciones.

5.  - In open fractures, cover the wound with sterile gauze / En fracturas abiertas, cubrir la herida con gasa estéril.

6.   - Do not try to introduce the bone inside the extremity / No intentar introducir el hueso dentro de la extremidad.

7.   - Contain possible bleeding / Contener la posible hemorragia. 

TRANSPORTE Y/O TRASLADO DE HERIDOS

-   1. If the transfer of the injured is not carried out correctly, the patient's condition may be aggravated / Si el traslado de heridos no se realiza en forma correcta se puede agravar el estado del paciente.

-   2. If the person cannot walk, is unconscious or has suffered an accident and the seriousness of his condition is not known, he should be transported on a stretcher, avoiding sudden movements / Si la persona no puede caminar, está inconsciente o sufrió un accidente y no se conoce la gravedad de su estado, debe transportarse en camilla, evitando movimientos bruscos.

-  3. Make stretchers with 2 long poles and clothes, sacks, sacks, bags, among others / Confeccione camillas con 2 palos largos y ropa, costales, sacos entre otros.

-   4. When lifting the injured person on the stretcher, avoid sudden movements, especially of the head and back / Al subir al herido en la camilla evite movimientos bruscos, sobre todo de la cabeza y la espalda.

-     5. Be careful not to mobilize the neck / Cuidando no movilizar el cuello.
